Dish Networks ExpressVU compatibility

Hi I wanna get a new dish for up at my cottage but ExpressVU want to charge me 120 for a new dish. Looking around i found a place selling dish network dishes for 50. I was just wondering if dish networks dishes would workd with ExpressVU receivers?

I was using a Dish 500 with my ExpressVu 3100 receiver

The Dishes and LNB's will work with b oth Dish & ExpressVu

Do the dishpro one's work too? In particular, dishpro twin.

The 3100 and 5900 are Dish Pro compatible...dont know about the others

Does DTV dish work with EXpressvu?

Can I plug my DTV cable directly into my BEV receiver? I have a 2 meter dish, location 19 n 81 west; I don't think the 20inch dish that came with the receiver is big enough here. Would Nimiq1 (91deg) or Nimiq2 (81deg) be the correct satellite from this far south?

DirectTv dishes & LNB's will work with ExpressVu, but you might be outside the footprint

is the Dish JVC 6000 hi-def receiver compatible with ExpressVu?

If it is a Dish Network screen (check system info), then it is not compatible.
