To answer my question let me give you my setup.

Currently I have a DP Quad LNB setup to connect 2 508's and a 721 box.

When I get my 622 I am retiring one of the 508's. That will give me a 622, 721 and one 508.

Now to my question. I am getting a Dish 1000 antenna, meaning I have to have a switch.

If I use a DP+44 will it work for those 3 boxes, meaning one line to the 622 with DPP seperator, one line to the 721 with DPP seperator, and finally the one line to the 508?

Thanks!

no

They will not put up a DPP Twin. Instead they will give you a DishPro Twin and DishPro dual and a DPP44 :)

The DPP only supports two receivers

LOL. That answers my question about the DPP44 then. My confusion was that if a Dual Tuner receiver still counts as one line from the DPP44. Thanks Iceberg!

correct
but you have 2 dual tuners and one single tuner...thats 3 lines coming from the Dish..(or in this case the switch)

Iceberg: Your first word should've been "yes".

And they MIGHT use the DPP-Twin that likely came with the D1000 - it'll drive a DPP44 just fine.
