The 75cm dish I mounted on the roof didn't come with "wings" (not sure if that's the correct terminology).

Does a dish of this size need additional support when it's roof-mounted?

I'm thinking of running an additional long bolt through the bottom hole for reinforcement, but I'm not sure if that's enough.

The bolt below where you indicated should not be a long bolt but two short ones. One on each side cinched tight.

Right, those are already installed. I'm talking about adding an additional bolt to place in front of the pole to prevent it from blowing out of place, if that makes sense?

I would go with 5/8 lag bolts and then I would use bolts that have a square flat head and are short, I made a mistake with this using a long bolt as well then one day was wondering what these type of head was for! :), You use lag bolts and the flat head bolts and its not going anyplace anytime soon! :)

The pole and mount are already mounted exactly as they're supposed to be; I was just talking about adding additional support
