Ok, back in January, some of my channels stopped working (I got the "satellite signal acquisition in progress, press up or down to change channels" message). I called and went through the whole song and dance about how to fix it and the tech people couldn't figure it out. So they sent a repair guy out to the house and he had to put a new LNB on my DISH 500. There was never any mention of a charge (of course). Now I get my DISH bill and they charged me $49 for the "Installation". I just called and talked to someone in India and he told me it should have been $99, but they gave me a $50 discount for being a valuable customer. Is this right? Or should I call again and ask to speak to someone else?

A DISH service call is $99.00 unless you are under a service contract.

*feels bad for those dumbasses who get their TV2 on the wrong channel, and get stupid dish CSR who puts out WO for it*
