And nothing got fixed. Both guys saw what I was talking about.
The guy said that right now they are running the satellite's extremely hard, and compressing the crap out of everything to make room for it all. Supposedly another satellite is going up that will handle nothing but the HD channels. And that will take the strain off and allow them to not compress as much and the PQ will go back up. He also said that the new receivers are better and will make things much clearer.
I asked if DirecTV is doing the same thing and he said yes. He's got DishNetwork and DirecTV at home for the NFL package.
So there's nothing to fix basically. I just have to wait it out and hope that the PQ get's better once the new satellite is up. Nice huh?
