I am new to this whole game but have bought the Duo-625 Receiver and Dish-500 with Twin LNBFs to provide Satellite service for my Motorhome. Do I have to run two coax cables from the dish to the receiver? I was under the impression that I only needed one. DishNetwork is most "unhelpful" with helping me.
Also, the "Separator" that came with the Receiver, I assume, is not needed if I have to run two cables.(?)

depends on the lnb. one cable for dpp twin with seperator.
two cables (no seperator) with dp twin or quad, legacy twin or quad, dp 34sw, or dp 21sw with duals.
a dpp twin will also work with two cables and no seperator.

Joint Statement from DirecTV & Dish Network

receiver upgrade LNB
