Dish Updates (software Pvr's)

Does anyone know what the paticular updates DISH does all the time are for??

My 522 powers off all the time, but I dont see any diffrence.

It is powering off to download the latest version of the programming guide. The last software download was L161 on 1/15/04.

I just read that L162 was spooling for 522. Haven't confirmed that yet, or what has been changed.
