Dish was quick to help with my 522 this time

I called Dish Network having several problems with my 522 unit. After mentioning the audio sync problem she told me that this was a problem they were aware of and that they could fix. Their solution for customers with this issue is to replace their 522 with a new 522. I'm wondering if they've changed the hardware somewhat. Anyone with more information?
 
I, as well as others, have been told that it is a software issue. In fact, I was told it was a known software issue earlier this week.

I have replaced my 522 THREE TIMES with new ones and have had the same sync problem with each one. So I don't think that it is a hardware problem. It is definitely a software problem.
