I am unfortunately in DMA 148 (Salisbury MD). Will I ever get LIL? Or am I stuck forever with OTA reception. Also I have a RCA HDTV with built in RCA Directv receiver, with the new satellites being launched, if and when the upgrades ever get to my lowly DMA, will I be able to upgrade to the new receiver? I am not very educated at all of this, but am learning alot from this site, and would appreciate any knowlege anyone can share. Thanks!

HD LiL rollout is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2007.

By the time LiL reaches your market, I would assume D* would have the price of MPEG4 receivers down to virtually free with annual commitment.

Since you have ~24 months until it's even an option for you, I wouldn't even BEGIN to worry about it.

if you are close enough to washington or baltimore you could always "move" your service account to an address that's not used or used by a business in washington or baltimore and get their locals. Of course you might be just on the edge of the spotbeam for washington or baltimore, I'm not sure. Of course if they offer ocean city locals before they offer salisbury locals you could "move" there.
