Do local Dishnetwork dealers honor the dishn it up deal?

Not yet and they will only if they were your origional dealer will be able to offer the upgrade to you.
Thanks Scott, yes it was my original dealer way back in 2000 I think...had zero interaction since then.
Just figured it might be a quicker solution to go down there an pick up a 211 vs. waiting 7-10 for dishnetwork to send it.

Another option you have is calling any local retailers and asking them if they are also subcontractors (meaning they do corporate work that is assigned to them by corporate office in their state) if they are they can call the state dispatching office and request your work order if you have a date and time in place. Then, they can move it up for you and do it earlier. Otherwise, what Scott said is right, only orginial retailers (if they are still in business) can do the upgrade for you, if you can prove they are no longer in business, than any retailer can help you.
