It is not an exclusive contract. NBA TV (SD & HD) are available to both DBS companies E* and D* and to various cable companies. So there is still a chance for VOOM to have it. I do not know how soon or whether it will available for playoffs.

That sounds like a sweet deal for Comcast... NBA-HD OnDemand. I'm suprised they have the bandwidth to do HD-OD.

I saw this link in another SatelliteGuys forum. It sure would be nice to have this free preview. It sounds like it will be action packed with awesome HD.
