Downgrading my dish size

The weight and high winds finally killed my sg2100 motor that's attached to my 1m Winegard. It lasted over a year and I am constantly motoring, so I can't complain.
I'm thinking of replacing the 1m with the 76cm Winegard to lessen the stress on my new motor.
How much of a signal loss should I expect? Will it be a shock.

Shame! I have had the same SG2100 for around 3 years and I have a 36" dish. I also motor A LOT!

I had a SG2100 that lasted just a few months with a 90cm dish, I went for mult-LNBs and am going to add another dish for g10.

If it was under a year old it would still have been under warranty? I would have returned it for repair/replacement.
