Is it possible to connect a DP21 switch with a DP34 switch to get another SAT feed from 61.5? (it is for CBS HD from NYC for which I have a waiver).

Currently have a super dish for 110,119, and 121 going into the DP34.

I'm using three receivers (811, 6000, and a 508 DVR)

Just to need to know if I can get SAT 61.5 the cheap way or will have to get a DP44 from ebay.

thanks

Yes. DP21 Input port #1 to the DP34, Input port #2 to the wing - which must have a DishPro LNB, of course. IIRC, it must be a Single or Dual - not a Twin or Quad.

Same concept holds for a FIVE bird setup using a DPP44.

We know this because of mike123abc: [thread=24582]Mad Scientist Hooks up 5 Satellite Locations!!!![/thread]

thanks for the information!! I checked my Dish 300 and I don't have a dishpro LNB on the dish nor did my Dish 500 have a dish pro LNB either.. If I decided to get CBS-HD back from NYC I will need to buy a single dish pro LNB.

at least for now my local CBS station turned the HD feed back on.
