dual output legacy LNB

Was the dish dual output legacy output for Dish 500 suppose to have an internal switch? All along I been using a external sw21 with each cable going to one.

the dual or twin? There is a difference

a dual sees one satellite. A Twin sees two satellites and is twice as big (the Twin fits on the "Y" adapter on the Dish500)

if its a Twin, then no you do not need a switch. Its built in

In doing a test I just eliminated the sw21 and I get both 110 119. I dont do check switch I just go to 110 sat then 119 sat and it reports I am on correct satellite for each. Kewl.
