DVR Suggestion

One thing that would be nice is the ability to schedule recording of shows via the internet.

There have been occasions when, 200 miles away, I thought of a show I wish I had recorded. I can currently do this with my cable system by connecting to my home computer, and the ATI TV card. But I can't connect to the DVRs via the Internet once I sign up again with Dish.

Do you think DISH could / will ever add that feature?

To be very usefull, it seems to me that you would have to be able to see what timers you already had set. That would require Dish to be downloading your timers at least once/day. I don't think I want that.

If they activated the USB port for this activity, then you could connect it to your computer which is connected to the 'net.
