E* and D* same size pole?

Do they use the same size pole for mounting dishes? Or more specifically can a D* dish be mounted on an E* pole?

That is the case unless you are to use a SuperDish with Dish Network in which you would need a 2" diameter pole for Type 1 metal dish and 2 3/8" diameter pole for Type 2 fiberglass/plastic dish.
