External USB Drive on 522

Can you use a usb external hard drive with the 522? If so, can you also take a usb drive with programming recorded from a 622 or 722 and watch it on the 522? I have all 3 of the receivers on my account.

No can do on 522. The USB port was used for only the old PocketDish.

Sorry about that, but 'tis true. And never will be enabled, either.

The other sad news is that there is no more PocketDish on the market, and the Archos HD versions do not work with Dish receivers. If they did, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

522/625 had only USB 1.1 support (up to 12 Mbps) .
