FCC reverses opinion on Al la carte?

Martin has said there were many flaws in the FCC's 2004 study that found a la carte service would cost consumers more, and the new report said it wrongly assumed consumers would watch less television with that option.

"A careful analysis reveals that a la carte and increased tiering could offer consumers greater choice and the opportunity to lower their bills," he said in a statement.

:shh I saw the press release to say something like "could get up to 20 channels without a price increase"??!! What a deal that would be. Trading a couple hundred channels for 20! And pay the same money??
