I finally got remotes for my boxes and start poking around in the settings and got a few questions.

1) What is the ReportBack option and how is it used?
2) Secure Firmware Version is V16
Current Software Version is V00.05.68
What is the EMM Provider and stream?
Satellite Signal Quality: 95
Off-Air Quality: currently below 20 was around 85 earlier
Sattelite Signal Power/ SNR: 80/14.64 (shouldn't that be higher to fend off rain-fade?)
Off-Air Signal Power / SNR: 0/0.00
Authorization Status: SWO (what is that?)
Satellite Map: 4560 (?)
Off-air Map: 0095(?)
# Satellite Channels: 141
# Off-Air Channels: 05
IPG Region: 13 (?)

Can anyone tell me what all this means?

Wow, quite a fiew questions! (TGIF!) ;)

The STB can report its information to VOOM via modem. You do not need to do this manually. It will be done automatically on VOOM's request.

2) Secure Firmware Version is V16
I think this is the firmware that is responsible for security functions, e.g. channel authorization.

Current Software Version is V00.05.68
That's the most important software version number, that everyone is talking about. When a new software is released, this number will change.

What is the EMM Provider and stream?
Some sort of identification that VOOM and other satellite providers use

Satellite Signal Quality: 95
You are getting good satellite signal!

Off-Air Quality: currently below 20 was around 85 earlier
When you tune to a particular OTA channel it will show you the signal quality for that channel.

Satellite Signal Power/ SNR: 80/14.64 (shouldn't that be higher to fend off rain-fade?)
I think these are good too.

Off-Air Signal Power / SNR: 0/0.00
Again, tune to an OTA channel first.

Authorization Status: SWO (what is that?)
Your current authorization status: you are subscribed!

Satellite Map: 4560 (?)
VOOM's satellite map. This is what everyone has!

Off-air Map: 0095(?)
This is your OTA map. This number defines which local channels you will receive. 95 is Baton Rouge, I think.

# Satellite Channels: 141
The number of satellite channels you receive

# Off-Air Channels: 05
This is how many OTA channels you can get.

IPG Region: 13 (?)
Your geographical region (used for PG, I think). 13 covers LA and MS
