i"m helping a friend set up a 2100 motorized dish
because of the motorized dish we know the motor arm is supposed to be level with the post
what i don't know is the angle of the dish
We live in medicine hat alberta canada
we are trying to find inteel sat 5 it is suppose to be the strongest in the area
any idea's thanks

You'll need to find your True South and point the dish towards it. Make sure that have no objects nearby blocking the signal.

I don't understand your assumption...
Here is all the install help you could ask for on the Sadoun site.
Quite detailed... but we can supply more info if necessary.

Latitude: 50° 03' North
Longitude: 110° 41' West

lat = motor elevation
long = true south sat

dish elevation is some formula I beleive, check the sat calc sites for that.

But don't let that phrasing confuse you. There are two scales on the SG2100 motor. One says "Elevation" and the other says "Lattitude". You set your motor elevation by setting your lattitude value on the scale marked "Lattitude" (just ignore the side that says "Elevation")
