In my opinion there is no reason FIOS cannot eventually put cable out of business little by little as well as DISH Network. The only thing that will save D* is Sunday ticket, RSNs and extremely remote locations. 10 years from now DISH will really feel the impact as FIOS spreads. Can you imagine trying to tune a dish and keep it peaked on even more satellites than D* already has? It will become an absolute joke.
