Is anyone using a Fortec 1M dish (16 gauge)?
How do you like it and how is it hold up to the weather?
Do you have it on an Sg2100?

Is anyone using a Winegard 1M dish (18 gauge)?
How do you like it and how is it hold up to the weather?
Do you have it on an Sg2100?


I would like to get a 1M dish but I'm not sure which one to get. Any help/ suggestions would be appreciated.

If the 1M Winegard is anything like the 76cm version there's no comparison.
I cleaned my Winegard off for the T-Pod review after being out in the elements for over a year and it came up as if it were new.

This make me wonder if anyone has clear-coated there dish with spray from a paint or auto store? And did it help?

Hello Guys,

Thanks for your replies. I went ahead and ordered a Winegard 1m dish from Centronics.com. It's who Winegard refered me to. The dish was $115.00 + $83.00 for S&H to my house. The S&H is expensive, but in looking on line it's not a bad price.

That's interesting about the clear coat. Has anyone ever tried just waxing there dish with car wax?

I would not wax or clear coat it !!!! any shine will fry your LNB

Wax or Rain X will work, but have a look at the below product its like Rain X on steroids!
