Where did you find the info. From what is given it looks like it was on c band and was likely just a feed not a full time channel.
97 West C-band (Galaxy 19) is becoming a very popular place for Mexican channels as well as temporary uplinks such as the Guadalajara one referenced. Would recommend a 10-foot C-band antenna, assuming that there is no 5g interference in his area. If he truly wants FTA in Spanish, I would suggest the Amiko Mini, because it handles HEVC signals in the H-265 format (comparable to 4K quality). Channels 2, 4, 5, and 9 from Mexico City are now up there with two additional time zone feeds for Ch 2 (Las Estrellas), Ch 5 (Canal 5) and Ch 9 (Nueve) from the capital, and a single channel for Ch 4 (Foro TV). Spanish language programming is also found in quantity from Mexico on satellites at 117, 113 and 105 West.
This will require an experienced C-band installer, spending in the neighborhood of 2 grand upwards,
depending upon the antenna used.
If the original poster wants to do things on a budget, he will need to consider Ku band instead, finding
which satellites have programming that he might want, and possibly putting up multiple fixed Ku band
antennas in the 90 cm diameter category, tied together with multiswitches.
Answering that he wants "FTA" is not really an acceptable answer to the questions posed by others attempting to help. A full understanding about the differences in hardware and programming choices between local digital TV and satellite options is needed before making final decisions. If you do not think this out, it will not get done properly the first time, and the final cost of what is really needed to meet your expectations could greatly exceed your budget.
