You can see on Directv that HDnet ch 79 is the best HD, so when you compare that with CBS, NBC and now ABC HD, what in the sam hill is FOX HD broadcasting in that makes the picture look so compressed. HD my foot.

You can just see that Fox is different when you see the grass on the field and the players faces. It looks ok, but it ain't what I call HD like HDNET is. More like sorry HD. I am watching on Directv though and not OTA.

Is that game over? I hadn't been watching it, but the other lives shows and HD produced shows I saw have been great. I wonder if this game was the "enhanced widescreen" from days past and not produced in their normal 720p?

correct, that game was not HD, just ws 480p.

Thanks dgordo. I missed it so I couldn't compare with what Lem was seeing, but I knew I hadn't seen anything that bad on FOX-HD that was truly produced in 720p.

I missed the opening of the game so I was confused as to if it was supposed to be HD or not.
