Hey guys and girls I noticed yesterday that under my "SUB CHAN" listing. That I had all of the HBO's,Showtimes,TMC's plus I saw NFLHD. I thought that maybe they were doing a Free Preview week for Labor Day. Well tonight I notice they are still there and I'm on the AM120 plus HD Pack. Anyone know anything?? :)

The preview was advertised as being through the 7th. To me this means that at about 5pm tomorrow, HBO and Showtime will go back to their normal mode.

See ya

where was it advertised, I did not see it on their web site and no mention in my latest billing statement?

Not quite, at least according to the guide. It ends between 12:00am and 12:00pm CST on the 8th, depending on the channel. You can tell exactly which channel ends at which time by scrolling right through the guide. As the free preview ends for a specific channel, the channel turns red (or green for Showtime) again. The times are staggered to match the ending of the movie or program in progress at that time. The West channels also end later because of the time difference. The first to end is SHOEX (322) at 12:25am CST after Alphabet City while the last to end is HBO-W (303) at 11:45 am CST after Men in Black. Another way to tell is that you can set event timers for shows ending before the cut-off while shows beginning after the cut-off spit up the standard "subscription channel" message.

Dish never beathed a word. However:

HBO's next free preview, Sept. 3-7, will feature "The Stolen Eagle" and episode 2, "How Titus Pullo Brought Down the Republic"; and in a first-ever HBO On Demand exclusive, the third episode, entitled "An Owl in a Thornbush," will be made available beginning Monday, Sept. 5, in advance of its Sept. 11 debut on HBO.

That was just the first two pages of a google search with "HBO Free Preview" and "2005" in the mix

Notice that there were no results from HBO itself or Dish.

See ya
