Hey all, been lurking for a while but I finally have something to post about. I got one of the free tivos in the current deal, a refurb Hughes 35-hour unit. After hearing about people getting busted ones I made sure to examine mine when it arrived, it was really dirty (looks like it belonged to a chain smoker) but appeared mechanically sound. It worked fine for 4 days, but we had a power outage yesterday and now it is stuck on the grey loading screen. I've tried power cycling it, no change. Should I assume it's dead or is there something else to try? Also, anyone know what the warranty is on these units? I don't want to have to re-activate the old Sony I replaced with this one...
