FrontLayer Technologies (www.frontlayer.com) has recently released an updated version of Nexus Media, a hosted platform that integrates custom Roku channel development, online media management for both Video-on-Demand and Live streaming, and highly scalable CDN distribution through Level3 network.

For a low monthly fee, customers can stream content, either VoD or Live, directly to the growing audience of more than 1 million Roku Set-Top Box users.

Videos can be uploaded directly through Nexus Media web interface, while each account is also linked to its corresponding live publishing point, compatible with popular encoders like Adobe FME or Wirecast.

The service was designed to provide our customers all the tools required to easily start broadcasting in minutes, with no upfront investment, and have their own custom branded channel for Roku.
