? Height: 1.12 inches (28.5 mm)
? Width: 8.66 inches (220 mm)
? Depth: 5.75 inches (146 mm)
? Weight: 1.19 pounds

Q:
How big is the Joey?

A: 6.62" x 5.27" x 1.49", you can see further specs on our product specs sheet.

A tuner in the Joey defeats the purpose of the design - whole home HDTV for 99% of customers with 2 simple boxes. An independent tuner like like the H25 without recording capabilty is not as useful as access to one that does, ala the Hopper. A tuner in the Joey would also need a different type of connection to satellite input. If you can't figure how to make Dish's design work for you, there is always DirectTV with their "smooth running" whole home system.

There is no comparison. My grandmother had a H25 before we got her switched to DISH last week. The Joey is much much smaller. I know what you're saying, for those cases when all the Hopper's tuners are busy, it would be nice if the Joey would have a single live only satellite feed that was a fall back. But as others have said, it's not the main focus of this system. DirectTV's implementation of MRV is very much an added function to their existing boxes, it was not built from the ground up to be a whole home solution.

So my contribution to this topic is a simple one. An OnLive app to access their streaming gaming service. OnLive sells a controller with a USB wireless receiver. That can plugged into the Hopper or Joey and they just need to write a software driver for the controller and an app to access the OnLive service. The latest Vizio Connected TVs are supposed to be using some implementation of this soon if they aren't already.
