Genie to my garage?

thinking about switching to direct tv. genie with 4 tv's in my house.can i move one of the mini genie to my garage for the summer like i do with dish. is a rg6 cable all i need? about 75' distance
 
So long as the line to your garage is rg6 and hooked into the splitter correctly, tip your installer to set it up and test it. Should be fine.

I have a similar setup, it will work fine just run an RG6 cable from the splitter that all your receivers run from. I run an HDMI cable from my kitchen to the garage, watch a ballgame on occasion while working on the cars, etc.
