Somebody please buy Adelphia I am tired off seeing HD atations listed but NO HD available...COMCAST please help us.
Alltel monopoly
Funny, I was hoping Adelphia would buy the Alltel cable service I have. Alltel has a monopoly on the phone and cable service in our area (Jackson Co). Can't get broadband through cable because Alltel says that it competes with their overpriced, slow 768kbs DSL service that is down at least 25% of the time I try logging on. A few weeks ago I asked about their HD offerings and when they plan on starting it, and I get the answer "we are evaluating HD at the moment and hope to install later this year." BTW, I heard that same answer last year around Spring time.
Anybody else have Alltel cable?
