Good Morning WION Early Risers! We're all "Back at It" on a Monday, and we thank you for taking us along! Make it a better week by getting our app from Google Play and I-tunes, or listening online at our website. Then, let us know WHERE you listen so we can add you to our "listening business list!"

Our thanks to Engineer Scott (yes, WION, like Star Trek has an Engineer who is a "miracle worker") who asked WION's AM to "stick out it's tongue and say, AHHHH" yesterday, and then tuned up our already great sounding AM Stereo 1430 which also improves our range and online stream as well. We hope you enjoy hearing REAL AM STEREO 24/7 from WION! There's no better sounding station in the nation!

Here's to a good week for everyone...productive, and fun!

Oh, and plan to join us Thursday morning for an update from Sparrow-Ionia Hospital on their building project and their 2015 open of the new facility, plus on Friday we visit with guest from the Ionia Freefair Agriculture Benefit Dinner and Auction! Should be a GREAT week on WION!

Good Morning WION early Risers! Aside from a 40 percent risk of a thunderstorm, a nice Monday on tap! We've got PLENTY of the music you know lined up this morning, and if we can do something for you, it's 616-527-9466 or "morning@i1430.com"

Good Monday Morning!

An excellent weather day locally....Sunny, with a high near 76 and a good looking week on tap in the weather department, too!

It's a new week, FALLFEST is this weekend! Be listening for details of events, and (gasp) search "bertha brock fallfest" if you want to on Facebook. Plan ahead...this friday we'll welcome our local pumpkin flinging team, "The Masters of Mayhem" to the round table show, and they'll be "flinging" at Fallfest! Enjoy your week, get our brochure online in this forum, and get our app to take us with you anywhere....from Google Play or I-Tunes. We wish you a good week!

Good Morning WION Early risers!
Weatherwise, it's patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 72.

A bit of recapping from fallfest this morning, and lots of GREAT music and of course CBS and Michigan News Network information updates will be coming your way. We'll also take any requests you may have to make a Monday go better for you.

Thanks for listening to WION!

Good Morning WION early risers!

It's the last Monday in September!
Today brings a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76.

We welcome ICT (Ionia Community Theatre) to our mics this morning at the round table, the topic: "Escanaba in Love" coming the first
weekend in October to the Palmer Lodge at Bertha Brock Park.

We'll also work a bit on our wakeup call, just so we can get to a new question hopefully by Wednesday this week!

Happy Monday to you!
The coffee's tasting good, and the National Weather services says, A slight chance of showers between 7am and 8am. Areas of fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 64." Not a bad Monday for October.

Lots of music today on the show, and local information.
Closed-circuit for fans of the Michigan News Network--We've temporarily removed them from the air, hopefully only til November. They are having difficulty with consistency of delivery of news and sports, so, rather than play outdated material and have to contact them to fix their downloads and newscasts, we've put them "on hold" for a month. We HOPE to have MNN back with us in November.

Programming note: The Round Table has Friday off, and you'll enjoy Barry Scott's "Lost 45's" Encore presentation of his theme, "Heaven and Hell" (in music, of course.) Jim will also be gone Monday next week from the mic.

We have a new wake up call coming Wednesday, and lots to talk about this week as local events for the Autumn start piling up!

Take us along, and thanks for listening to WION locally, and online anywhere in the world on the web!

Happy Monday! Hope you had a rejuvenating weekend!
Coffee's the "half calf" (half the caffeine) by chance today....we'll see how that goes!
A GREAT lineup of music awaits you today on WION, take us along with our app, and we thank our Monday sponsor of Michigan news,
"Ionia Family Chiropractic!" (new to WION!!)

SO glad to have MI news back on our station with the new, upgraded software!
Please get to know our schedule of collection locations next week for the BLUE STAR MOTHERS as we attempt to collect a record number of
items and send a record number of boxes to our deployed service men and women! Details in the pdf attached here, and thank YOU to Berger Motor Sales, Ionia for providing the truck!

Now, on with the "wake up music!"
Thanks for listening....to WION!

It's Monday! Join us on the morning show as we welcome "Trainer Joe" from Snap Fitness to the round table for his monthly visit, and...throughout the day for the music you know and the "Information you need" Mr. Osgood joins us at 7:35, 8:35, and in our noon and 5PM Information blocks on WION radio.

Osgood File Topics - Mon 2/15/16:
#1: The Supreme Court, After Scalia.
#2: Justice Scalia, In His Own Words.
#3: Letting Them See You Sweat.
#4: Flying High - And Flying Cleaner.
