GPS on iPhone 3GS Goes Out Often

My GPS on my iPhone 3GS keeps going out. Everytime I need to use it I have to do a network reset and it will work for about an hour before it goes out again. Anyone know possible cause of this? Are there fixes without having to do a restore?

I noticed it getting worse overtime as well. A few months ago it would go out on occasion and come back on. Now it is out more than it is on.

For some reason I need to have WiFi turned on in order for my GPS to work, even if I am not using WiFi.
