H10 vs older Sony A65

Had a weird issue tonight.

The H10 would search for sat (771) but the Sony wouldn't have a problem at all (I could view both at the same time).

Transponder 1 on the H10 would be in the mid 40s. The transponder on the Sony was at 6. When I would move the transponder to 1, the H10 seemed to pickup in strength. At no point did the Sony ever go below 90%. But transponder 1 on the H10 would drop below 50%.

That doesn't seem right to me -- but I seemed to be able to duplicate it multiple times (could be a huge coincidence I guess).

Could this be a wiring issue of some sort? I was going to swap out the receivers location later as a test.

Is the H10 "pickier"?

Swap the receivers with each other and see if the problem stays with the H10 or is now on the Sony. If it stays with the H10 receiver then the H10 is the issue. If it stays at the location (now affects the Sony) then check the cable, connectors and the switch if you have one.
