Had to get a different Analog Receiver

I got my Pansat 3500SD today, but had a little set back.

My Drake ESR 1524 started to giving me some trouble. I think I mentioned in one of my posts that the picture was almost too much with driving reds etc. Then I started having problems with the picture rolling even after peaking etc.

I finally gave up on it, and got a Houston Tracker System 8 plus receiver. I got the remote, a System 5 manual with it, and have started to program satellites into it. The picture is much better, and no rolling.

If anyone know where I can get an exact manual for the System 8 plus, please let me know.

Also if someone has an idea what might be wrong with the Drake, or a place to send it for repair, that would be helpful too. I like that receiver.

I will be busy for a couple of days, but hope to have everything running by this weekend including the Vbox II and the Pansat.

I believe it was me they are based here in Tulsa. Just got my 8ft dish moved from one of our old family properties and have been doing a lot of research into getting it going again.
