Hallmark Channel Opinion...

Hi-

I do not currently have the Hallmark Channel with Comcast here in New Jersey, my question to all of you is how is the channel in regards to programming etc. I read that it has a lot of M*A*S*H* showings, but I have also seen that they have some classic shows that I like like Gilligan's Island, The Waltons and The Beverly Hillbillies. How are the movies that they show? Just wondering if I should keep pestering Comcast to add it, or just look for the last three shows somewhere else.

i really don't watch that channel at all, but i am sure others will have some opinions for you.

Go to a TV listing site (Zap2It, Excite, whatever) and tell it that you've got Dish or something else with the Hallmark Channel. Then look to see what it's showing over the next couple of weeks.

It has some great family offerings when you need your TV to be on "safe time" for kids or older family. It gets maybe 1 - 2hrs of viewing today from my home, so not much in the scheme of things, but nice to have it as an included basic service.

Thanks guys for your comments, I guess I will just have to keep pestering comcast to add the channel, since it is "family friendly" and probably better than half the stuff out there.
