I need your help please...Heres the situation.

I want to Hardwire Power to my Sirius Sportster.

Heres what I have...
- 12VDC Accessory Outlet

My question is...I want the power line from the accessory outlet(above) to run directly to my Civic's fuse box...Thing is I dont know what size(amp/fuse) I should wire it to?

The Accessory outlet has a 10A fuse built in. I definately dont want to burn out my Sirius unit.

In the Sirius SportsterR Manual it says...
Fuse Requirement ...................................................................................................................... 3A Slow Blow
Power Supply .................................................................................................... 10-16V, Negative Ground, DC

I need some clarification as to exactly how I should hook this up so I dont burn out my unit...

Sorry if I confused you, your help is much appriciated...:)

Well seeing that most Auto Accessory(cig lighter) outlets are hooked to a 20 amp fuse I would have to say that a 20 amp fuse would be ok to use.
