I am not familiar with this particular brand, but I don't see why this wouldn't work.
Are you sure they are gold plated though? Is that 4.49 per cable or per pair?
Just keep in mind that you will need 6 cables (or 3 pairs) for 5.1 audio.
Personally, I prefer 5.1 cable sets. If nothing else, the cables are color-coded which makes it easier to connect.

i got 3 pairs they are gold plated i own a car audio shop so i can get all home audio products at cost the price is per pair i got 3 sets i wanted to try they out i can get monster cables the cables i bought the colors are red white what do u mean by 5.1 cables when i hook cabes up i just follow the same color to the reaceiver and dvd hd player
