HD Converter

I would like to tap into the HDTV in my area. Albuquerque, NM - I need to know if I buy a HD converter and hook it up to a analog tv, would it work? and if so can anyone direct me to a good unit.

Yes, if you just have to have one, you can buy a OTA set-top box and it should down convert via the s-video output, mine does. I am not recommending this one, just showing this one because of the rear photo. I prefer the LG LST-4200A if you can get it. Call Robert at www.ValueElectronics.com

I can atest that the LG4200A is a very very nice piece of equipment. NTSC, ATSC and QAM tuners. I bought mine locally, but everyone says ValueElectronics is top notch to deal with.
