I have just purchased an HR10-250 and am checking out the quality of the pic versus my current DSR6000 and the Sony Sat HD-300 I just sold.
What I find interesting is 480P mode is much sharper than 1080I mode on my Hitachi x500. This don't make sense to me... A 1080I image (Discovery HD) downconverted to 480P looking better than native?
I went back and forth between 480P and 1080I and 480P won on every HD Channel... Do you think that is the box or maybe the TV is doing extra processing to 480P...
