I currently have Voom but am switching to e*. I will have 1 811 box and a 311 box. I also have an antenna that I receive my OTA on. (Voom will just be taking the box.)The two signals, dish and antenna, are connected with a di-plexor at the dish, then split at the box.

Will the installer be able to do the same set up since i'll be receiving ota with the 811?

If not, how do they do the wiring for the install?

So, the HD does not require a dual coax to run into the house?

require? no

Preferable? yes

basicly it will be the dish and antenna into a diplexor that wire into the house and to the 811 location diplexor 1 wire to tuner 1 wire to OTA tuner.

It is generally preferred to make 2 runs but... you know what i mean.

Im not sure if it is included with standard install but diplexors are cheap.
