I purchased a Westinghouse 1080p TV which does not have a tuner. I have a few questions:
What equipment will I need to take full advantage of this HDTV for over the air broadcasts?
Are there DVD players or recorders with up-converters for 1080p that also have an antenna input?
What are the quality differences for S-video, DVI and component connections?

Thanks and keep smiling!

S-video does not pass high def resolutions, it's 480i only.

LG made a combo HD tuner/DVD player, the LST 3510.

It will upconvert over DVI but not component, it does pass OTA HD over component.

Welcome to SatGuys; I hope this info helps.

General rule for best performance:
1a. HDMI (can depend on your setup)
1b. DVI
2. Component
3. S-video
4. Composite
5. Coax/RG6

I like these units:

DVD: LG DVB418 I have this unit and it is awesome! Region free and multi-format play and card readers. I can 110% confrim it will up-convert over component.

ATSC: LG LST-3100A My father-in-law has this unit and it is awesome! I have the DBS combo version and love it.

Combo: LST-3510A
