Hello 942, Good Bye 921 and 721

Yesterday I sold both my 921 and 721 and bought a 942 via Ebay. Both receivers sold the in first 12 hrs with Buy It Now. I must not have asked enough for the buy it now.

Anyway, I gained more from the sales than I lost on the purchase and am looking forward to not dealing with the 921 idiosyncrosies.

One question I haven't been able to definitively answer: Is the local channel guide free for the 942 like it is for the 811 or is it only with subscription (sometimes) of the LiLs?

The guide for locals I believe you need to sub to local to get it. You will like the 942 is a good machine.
