I am a computer fanatic and that is where I waste most of my time. I haven't watched TV in a long time and recently bought a TiVo which is now available in Canada.
I have run into a problem in that my TiVo remote (ir) thingy won't work on my Motorola DSR530. Starchoice tells me that the set top box and PVR will work with IR signals but I don't know how to figure out the 5 digit number to use with this set. TiVo tells me that because the DSR530 is also a PVR that it can't be controlled because the remote is radio. But Starchoice says 'sure it will work with an IR remote'. So, I'm looking for a way to figure out how to get these two talking.
Can anyone suggest which forum I should use to post this question?
