I would like to buy a 50" widescreen HDTV. I have DirecTV with TIVO currently. It seems that none of the sets on the market are directly compatible with DirectTV and/or offer many features that will not work with satellite TV. Any thoughts on what is the best TV match for DirecTV?

Like what features? See my signature for a great HD monitor. The Hitachi UltraVision line always rates at the top of real world usage tests and have have ZERO compatibility issues.
Just looking for the best match for HDTV with DTV and TIVO. Theterm monitor doesn't seem to mean the same thing that it used to.
It is very confusing rying to pick between DLP, plasma, LCD, HD ready, HD built-in, HD compatable. It just goes on and on.
