Help : ViP211 No HDMI Signal

I tried doing a search to see if others are having the same problem.
I noticed yesterday that my ViP211 - which has been working fine for about a year - suddenly do not send any signal on HDMI at all.
Perfectly blank.
I m not sure exactly when it stopped working, as I was out of station for the past 2 months.

I tried other HDMI sources to make sure that the TV and the HDMI cable are working fine.
My Software is on L341
( http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/customerCare/technical/software_versions/index.asp shows L341 & L342 as the latest )

Dish CSR was not of much use. She said "we suggest you to use S-Video cable".
She was obviously reading from a script.

My guess is that some software upgrades that went in while I was away screwed my HDMI.
Is this possible ?
Is there any way I can go back to a previous software version ?

You might try unplugging the receiver for about 3-5 minutes then plug it back in see what happens.
