Help with receiver

Hi Guys
I'm trying to hook up a GI 350i in my other room, It will be for KU FTA only (not c-band, don't have a BUD yet) It will have it's own dish (not hooked to my 31in wingard) and will be strictly for g10r viewing. Is there a external switch that I need
and does anyone know how to program this thing? (this thing is nothing like a fortec)

The GI350 is a analog reciever and wont work for the G10 digital stuff

That explains why I was having so much trouble with it. Looks like I'll have to buy another fortec.
