HH120 ON pole

i got a 3 7/8in pole from a friend wondering if the HH120 motor clamp will work with it,also can i paint my fortec 1.2meter with tremclad flat drown or like a soccer ball
wife dont like the white

I think kthe HH120 will work with a mast that big.; I know I've seen it on a 3 1/4" mast but 3 7/8" holy crap thats a big mast
