Hitachi Turning on and off

We have a Hitachi 53uwx10 projection tv that turns it self on (usually between 12pm and 4am) and then will sometimes turn itself off a few hours later. There is no pattern other than the 12 to 4 and we have removed the batteries from the remote, unplugged the tv to clear everything and there are no timers set. Any help would be appreciated this has really got me. Also it stopped for a few days and has now started to do it again.

shut up! my tachi's gonna hear you!! weird!! very rarely I have to turn mine on at the front panel, I've done it twice in a year. it just wouldn't "catch" using the remote...it was "clicking" but not that "dual click" that makes it come on.
