I'm hooking up an old Uniden UST 4400 Super.

I'm familiar with the regular AV/coaxial cables, and but I've got 2 sets of other small color coded wires...

Set 1: Black/White/Red

Set 2: Red/Orange/Green/White (the white and red cables on this set are slightly thicker than the others).

Can anyone tell me where exactly these wires should go? I dont want to mess up the receiver by hooking up the wrong wires.

http://www.uniden.com/pdf/UST4400SUPERom.PDF

There is the URL to my manual in PDF (adobe acrobat format). Pages 4 & 5 show the back of my receiver.

I greatly appreciate any advice!

Set 1 goes to the servo/polarity
should be
red dc 6V
white pulse
black to gnd

set 2 is to the motor
orange +5 (awg22)
green pulse (awg22)
black (awg22) gnd (if you have) awg 22 is the smaller wires
red motor + (awg14) awg 14 is the larger wires
black motor- (awg14)

i think these are correct maybe one of the old heads will verify

also location plays a role here

Set 2: Red/Orange/Green/White (the white and red cables on this set are slightly thicker than the others).

Red and White go to the motor terminals. (The left 2 terminals in "I" of the diagram)
These may need to be reversed if pressing E or W moves the dish the wrong way.

Orange and green go to Sen and Gnd. (The right 2 terminals in "I" of the diagram.
The order of these does not matter.
