How do I get CBS HD East & West?

Is there any way to get CBS HD East & West? Is there a waiver process? How can I qualify?

Most are qualied right away if your local cbs is an owned and operated affiliate. Otherwise, you need to get a waiver from your local cbs.

So, give E* a call and see if they will activate, if not actually call my local CBS affil.? I know they have a waiver request on E*'s site but I assumed that was for SD, not HD????

Better to call the Station engineer and go from there... but with recent developments who knows?

I don't think you can get both! East is on Sat 61.5 and West on 148(I believe). I think you will have to choose one. DO NOT GO THROUGH CSR's --- Go directly to Dish Tech by going thru the menu to add channels. The CSR's ALWAYS screw this process up and the tech's are from the US and are extremely helpful. If you have distant CBS, you should already have the waiver and it usually takes about 15 min. Sometimes it depends how far away you live from the local CBS signal.

Above is true go directly to tech... ( I lost East when I added 129 for my HD locals with the 622, supposedly the system will not accept 5 satellites and I had 4 already)
